When you place an order, contact us, request local pickup, or ask about a custom product, you may provide your name, email address, telephone number, shipping or pickup information, order details, and the contents of your message. The shopping cart also uses local storage in your browser so your selections can remain on your device.
How we use information
We use information to process and deliver orders, arrange pickup, respond to questions, provide customer service, prevent fraud or misuse, maintain business and tax records, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell or rent personal information.
Payments and service providers
Payments and checkout are processed by Square. Ecossaise does not receive or store your complete payment-card number. Messages submitted through our contact form are transmitted by FormSubmit to our business email. Those providers process information under their own privacy practices. Shipping carriers and other service providers may receive only the information reasonably needed to complete your order.
Cookies, storage, and analytics
We do not currently use information from this website for targeted advertising. The site may use essential browser storage or cookies needed for functions such as keeping your cart. Square, FormSubmit, or other embedded services may use their own essential technologies when you interact with them.
Retention and security
We keep order, tax, and customer-service information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above or as required by law. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but we limit the information we collect and rely on established providers for payment processing.
Your choices
You may ask what personal information Ecossaise has about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete information that we are not legally required to retain. Email erica@ecossaiseco.com. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.
Children
This website is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13.

We may update this policy as the shop or the services we use change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
